What is the date and time of Zoo Brew?

Do I need to print out my tickets or show a receipt?
All guests need to bring their tickets, a valid ID, such as a driver’s license or a passport to prove they are 21 years or older.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All attendees must be 21 years or older to enter, even if they are not drinking beer or alcohol. Guests must present a valid ID at entry, such as a driver’s license, real ID, or passport.
Can children or infants attend the event?
Due to alcohol being served at the event Brew at the Zoo is for adults only. Infants and children will not be admitted.
Is there a different ticket fee for designated drivers or non-alcohol drinkers?
All tickets are $50 per attendee, regardless of attendee drinking alcohol or non-drinking attendee, and designated drivers. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
I found someone selling tickets online to this event, are these tickets legit?
The Emporia Friends of the Zoo (EFOZ) does not condone the resale of tickets to any fundraising event and caution the public to be wary of reseller scams.
Parking options and overnight parking?
Parking is available in many places including the parking lots in front of and behind the Zoo Education Center, Soden Road or down in Sodens Grove Park. The Emporia Friends of the Zoo(EFOZ) wants all guests to drive responsibly, so guests’ vehicles may be left in the Zoo parking lot overnight and picked up the next day.
What should I wear to the event?
Dress is casual; keep in mind you will be strolling the Zoo throughout the event.
What is the refund policy?
Zoo Brew will be held rain or shine and is a fundraiser for the Zoo. As such, refunds are not offered. Your donation supports the David Traylor Zoo and its efforts to “inspire conservation of the natural world.
Can I pay with Check or Cash?
Yes, to pay with cash or check you must do so in person at the Zoo Office during regular business hours. Tickets must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Can I still purchase tickets at the gate if the event sells out in advance?
No, there are a limited number of tickets available. If the event sells out, there will not be tickets available at the gate.
What happens if it rains?
Brew at the Zoo is held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. It will still be fun but we may have to move a few things around!
What is with the camera?
This event will have an event photographer taking photos throughout the day. These photos are for Emporia Friends of the Zoo(EFOZ) / David Traylor Zoo use only and may appear on websites, social media outlets, or other future Zoo or EFOZ promotional/marketing material. By attending the event, you agree to usage of your likeness in such media.
